Attention CAO Students – Today Fingal Dublin Chamber & The Institute of Business & Technology (IBaT) launched a €1000 scholarship for a student pursuing a HETAC programme at the college in Swords.
The scholarship will be awarded to the student with the highest points achieved on the CAO applying to IBaT. A scholarship will be awarded to a student applying for the Bachelor of Business or Higher Certificate in Business programmes.
The presentation of the Fingal Dublin Chamber scholarships will take place during the first two weeks of September 2008.
Shane Ormsby, Director of IBaT, said: “The scholarship, which is kindly supported by Fingal Dublin Chamber, will have a significant impact on a student’s life. The student with the highest CAO points will benefit from the significant financial support provided by the scholarship and the highest standard in education set by HETAC.”
“We are by far the youngest Business School in the country to be HETAC approved, an approval regarded by many as the toughest accreditation for a Private business school to attain. We are a member of the CAO and our campus in Swords offers a state of the art facility customised with all of the facilities that one would expect from a modern progressive Educational Institute,” said Ormsby.
IBaT is a HETAC, FETAC and FAS registered Institute.
